Youth Cycling
Kids on bikes
That's really all it comes down to.
Over the years we have heard story after story about how we helped students, and even families, discover mountain biking and how it changed their lives for the better. There's something about the adrenalin rush as you flow, hammer, race, or send it through the forest that makes you feel like you can accomplish anything.
Our goal is to share that rush with kids and help them fall in love with something that they can make their own and enjoy for life.
Through our group rides, team trips, and even races, students will learn the basic but critical foundations of mountain biking. They will meet new people and discover a whole community of amazing people they may not have known existed.

Frequently Asked Questions
What equipment does my student need to participate?
A good attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to become stronger and break down comfort zones.
If needed, we can provide the rest. Please contact us if you need assistance with a bike and helmet.
A quality mountain bike is essential for a students safety and enjoyment of the sport and a certified helmet is required.
We know mountain biking has high start up costs due to the equipment, that's why were here to help.
Students are welcome to ride any bike they have but we have some recommendations for you so they can have the best experience possible:
-Mountain Bike purchased from a mountain bike dealer, not a big box store (those aren't rated for "off-road use" and they break down frequently).
-Front Suspension (needs to be smooth and free of binding)
-Disc brakes (they hold up better when it's wet)
-Tire designed for dirt and in good condition
-Working drivetrain and shifting (we go up and down a lot, having working gears is crucial)
-A certified, quality, well fitting helmet. Students will not be allowed to ride with helmets that do not fit or that show signs of damage and age. A local bike shop can inspect your helmet and make recommendations for you. We can also provide helmets if needed.
