Volunteers
Mountain biking is an amazing activity and sport that can be a lifelong passion for many types of people. However, it has a high startup cost. This is why our volunteers are so critical. Their willingness to dedicate their own time for free is largely what help us keep our student registration costs so low and results in more kids on bikes!
Our Volunteers are the backbone of our club.
Ages
Anyone 18 and over, and who has graduated high school, is welcome to come out and ride with us as a volunteer.
When
Group rides will need volunteers February through June and August through October on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.
There are also opportunities to help on many race weekends throughout the year
Where
We do our best to take our students to as many PNW trail systems as we can but the majority of our rides will be at Black Diamond Open Space and Tiger Mountain. Have a trail you'd like to show the kids? Let's go!

We work hard to ensure there a no costs for our volunteers to participate!

Frequently Asked Questions
What skill level do I need to be helpful?
You should know how to ride a bike, and preferably on dirt trails.
That's about it.
We have many students who are just getting into the sport and need an adult mentor to learn with. The cool thing is that you will get better too!
We also have a need for intermediate and strong riders. Some of our most experience kids are comfortable with 15+ mile/3000ft. or more days and we need volunteers who are able to keep up!
